The consignment product inventory on your shelf absorbs inventory costs and reduces operating expenses. The money that is freed from the monthly inventory also improves cash flow. Through maximizing the optimum economic reorder point, ConsignAdvantage is both time saving and cost effective.

 

The Consignment Process

The consignment process is simple and straightforward. Your BDI Pharma account representative works with you to determine adequate inventory levels based on the facility's historic product usage. We send the first consignment product after receiving your specific delivery instructions. Additional product is available by calling your BDI Pharma account representative.

BDI Pharma is responsible for monitoring the dating on consignment product. Any product approaching nine months of its expiration will be exchanged at no cost to your facility. Once product is on the shelf, you report usage on a monthly, user friendly inventory report. This report is as simple as checking the quantities and lot numbers of consignment product and e-mailing or faxing the report back. This single monthly report allows you to receive only one invoice and one purchase order each month.
