Anti-Thrombin III
Anti-thrombin III is a serine protease inhibitor of coagulation, a protein that is essential to the regulation of hemostasis. Anti-thrombin III concentrate (brand name Thrombate III) is used as a replacement therapy for individuals with hereditary antithrombin III deficiency in connection with surgical or obstetrical procedures or when they suffer from thromboembolism.
