Coagulation Factor VIIa & Anti-Inhibitors
Factor VIIa and anti-inhibitor complexes are used in the treatment of
patients whose immune systems have developed antibodies, called inhibitors,
to the coagulation factors normally used to treat hemophilia A and B. Factor
VIIa is also indicated for the treatment of other serious, sometimes
life-threatening bleeding conditions. Factor products are supplied in vials
sizes of varying iu (international units) which may change with each new lot
of product manufactured.
